Sue Carson Saddles Supports British Dressage Team Success (30th, June 2011) As one of the leading saddle brands in the UK, Sue Carson Saddles provides – quite literally – support for an increasing number of riders selected for British Teams, as they have chosen to ride on a Sue Carson Saddle. The recent announcement by British Dressage of the team to contest the 2011 Pony European Championships (Jaszkowo, Poland from 26 – 31 July) confirms this growing domination by the UK brand, as three of the four ponies on the team are all ridden on a Sue Carson Saddle. They are Maisie Scruton (Rembrandt DDH), Gabrielle Lucas (Top Star), Aimee Witkin (Ferrari). Sue Carson Saddles will also be supporting the Pony team members with branded saddlecloths and clothing. Reviewing the long list for the Junior and Young Rider European Championships (Broholm, Denmark from 20-24 July) reveals a further three riders who are training and competing on a Sue Carson Saddle. They are Emma Corbett (Furst Diamantino), Samantha Thurman-Baker (Spring Pascal / Highcliffe Apollo) and Amy Woodhead (Pardon). These dedicated young riders all realise the vital importance of saddle fit when dealing with a fit competition horse or pony, which is changing due to the athletic demands of training and competition. The completely bespoke Sue Carson Saddles range helps them to maximise performance and wellbeing as saddles can be easily checked and adjusted as required. Sue Carson commented, “We have been working very hard this season with a growing number of pony, junior and young riders who ride on our saddles and to see so many of them on the 2011 teams and squads gives all of us enormous satisfaction. We are delighted to offer our support and wish them every success on the international stage.” Ends Caption for image:- Maisie Scruton and Rembrandt DDH Note to editors.
