SUE CARSON SADDLES LAUNCHES NEW JUMPING SADDLE (3rd, June 2011) In addition to enviable good looks, the new Bascule jumping saddle from Sue Carson Saddles has been skilfully designed for the smaller rider who wants support, yet freedom of movement over a fence. Understanding that a rider’s seat bones, leg length and body shape all affect how each individual sits on a horse, the Bascule offers a choice of various block sizes, depending on how much support the rider wants. It features a small, narrow, flat seat with a narrow twist, yet has a really good weight bearing surface. There’s a choice of flap design, either a close contact mono flap or the connection flap that gives a little more width and it is available with either short or long girth straps. For the horse’s comfort, the design and width of the panel is the result of a lot of work, with the wider, middle-of-the-road panels and gussets giving a greater bearing surface, so there is less pressure and the horse is more able to use its back over a fence. The front gussets cushion the shoulders and give the horse more room to move and jump much more cleanly in front and the use of taller, wider gussets in the back put the rider in the correct position If you are serious about performance and competition results, then a bespoke saddle is a very worthwhile investment because it will allow both you and the horse to maximise your athletic potential. The new Bascule costs £2350. To find out more and to arrange to see saddles from the Sue Carson Saddles range, contact 01629 540343 or visit www.suecarsonsaddles.co.uk Ends |
